The Heathfield Road neighbours in Freshwater netted the windfall when PO40 9LJ was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Thursday (17th December 2020).
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners. He said:
“What amazing news to receive at this time of year, congratulations to our winners in Freshwater! I’m sure they’ll enjoy spending the cash and treat themselves to something special”.
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted by Youth Music which has received over £6.5 million in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery. Youth Music is a national charity investing in music-making projects for children and young people experiencing challenging circumstances. The funding Youth Music receives from players of People’s Postcode Lottery helps the charity support projects for over 75,000 young people across the country.
Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
