A night of classic soul, Motown and disco hits is set to light up Shanklin Theatre on Saturday 1st November, as Angelo Starr & The Team bring their world-class live show to the Isle of Wight.
The Team have been performing since 1982 and have built a reputation for outstanding live performances that celebrate the very best of soul music. Originally the backing band for the late Edwin Starr, the group now continues his musical legacy with Edwin’s younger brother, Angelo Starr, taking over lead vocals.
This continuity has created a powerful blend of nostalgia and fresh energy, with seasoned musicians who have toured the world alongside some of the greatest names in soul music.
Audiences can expect to hear all of Edwin Starr’s classic hits alongside a selection of timeless Soul and Motown favourites, plus a host of disco anthems guaranteed to get the crowd dancing.
