62-year-old Graham Medway, who is accused of raping a 3-year-old girl, has been remanded in custody.
Mr Medway appeared before Southampton Magistrates Court this morning (Thursday), where he did not enter a plea. He is alleged to have intentionally penetrated the mouth of a 3-year-old girl with his penis.
As previously reported by Island Echo, the Freshwater man has been charged with raping a girl under the age of 13. It follows an alleged serious sexual assault on a toddler at Fort Victoria Country Park on 31st August.
Magistrates today heard how Medway’s property in Edinburgh Road has been targeted by those angry at the allegation against him.
Mr Medway has been remanded in custody to appear before the Isle of Wight Crown Court on 26th October.
