Lucy Burke emerged victorious as Ladies’ Champion and winner of the Scratch Salver at the Shanklin and Sandown Ladies’ Championship held on 17th and 18th July.
Lucy achieved a gross score of 158. The runner-up was Dawn Hodge with 161 and Bev Whorwood took 3rd place with 162.
The Handicap Cup was also won by Lucy Burke on countback from Bev Whorwood with a total nett score of 142, with Lorrie Hawkins taking 3rd also with 142.
The Gallop Cup was won by Bev Whorwood on countback from Debbie Berry with 71. 3rd place went to Lucy Burke with 72.
The Ladies’ Bronze Champion and winner of the Berry Salver with a gross 194 was Lorrie Hawkins. Connie Huntington was runner-up on 198 and Stephanie Hart took 3rd place on 202.
The Harrison Trophy (18-hole stableford) was won by Penny Last on countback from Lorrie Hawkins with 41 points. Stephanie Hart took 3rd place with 36 points.
