Thames Valley Air Ambulance has airlifted a man to hospital from the Rosemary Lane area of Ryde this morning (Tuesday).
The red and yellow helicopter landed in fields between Weeks Road and Woodland View at around 11:10 following a request from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
The patient has been flown to a mainland hospital after he fell from a ladder in the garden, it is understood.
Rosemary Lane is a rural part of Ryde between Haylands, Ashey and Oakfield with only a few residential addresses.
