A 53-year-old man has been released by Police without charge following the discovery of a body in Newport earlier this month, the identity of which has been confirmed as that of 45-year-old Deborah Fowler.
As first reported by Island Echo, Police were called to an address on Barton Road, Pan on 2nd August where a female’s body was discovered. A 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and later bailed, however he has now had all action against him dropped by Hampshire Constabulary.
Deborah’s death is still being treated as unexplained by Police, however no-one else is being sought in connection with the investigation. The cause of death is yet to be confirmed.
