A glittering ceremony in Brighton saw the results of the Tourism South East Beautiful South Awards revealed last week, with several Isle of Wight businesses seeing success.
The awards, which celebrate the best of the best in tourism in the South East, are always eagerly awaited by the businesses who have put themselves forward.
The ceremony on Tuesday evening (13th December) at the Grand Hotel in Brighton was attended by Island businesses who had made the shortlist, with a chance of winning bronze, silver or gold.
4 Isle of Wight-based businesses picked up awards including:
- Dog Friendly Accommodation of the Year – Silver to Haviland Cottage in Ventnor
- Self-catering Accommodation of the Year – Bronze to Art Deco House in Shanklin, Silver to Haviland Cottage in Ventnor
- Restaurant of the Year – Bronze to The Royal in Ventnor
- Holiday Park of the Year – Silver to Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park at Bembridge
