31-year-old Jack McRae has appeared in court charged with attempting to murder a man in Newport last year.
McRae, currently of HMP Long Lartin, appeared before Magistrates via video link this morning (Tuesday) charged with attempt murder – victim aged 1 year or over, contrary to the Criminal Attempts Act 1981.
It’s said that on 14th October 2022, at a location in Newport, Jack McRae attempted to kill a man called Alex Prosser.
The case has been sent up to the Isle of Wight Crown Court where Jack McRae will appear on 4th December.
He remains in custody.
