St Boniface Cliff Road & Northcliff Gardens in Shanklin has been closed this morning (Monday) to enable Southern Water to carry out repairs. 

St Boniface Cliff Road & Northcliff Gardens has been closed from its junction with St Boniface Cliff Road to its junction with Northcliff Gardens for a distance of 24 metres.

This is to enable Southern Water to carry out emergency repairs to a leaking stop valve.

The diversion will affect these streets: Northcliff Gardens, Clarence Gardens, Arthurs Hill, St Boniface Cliff Road.

Diversion route(s) will be signed at the time of closure. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the road is closed.

The closure was put in force from 10:00 hours on 29th June 2020 and will remain in place for a maximum period of five days or until works are completed, whichever is sooner.
