2 men arrested after a cannabis farm worth an estimated £100,000 was found in Newport remain under investigation, but have not yet been charged.
It was over 7 months ago that Police raided a warehouse at Little London in Newport, arresting a 46-year-old man and a 41-year-old man on suspicion of being concerned in the production of Class B drugs.
Inside the property, officers discovered no less than 100 cannabis plants – each thought to have a street value of £1,000.
Shortly after their arrest, the 2 males were released from custody under investigation.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has this week confirmed that that remains the case with no charges brought against the 2 men to date.
The investigation continues.

Nice to see the electric being wasted, no wonder the utility suppliers are on about possible power cuts.
I think you mean the investigation hasn’t and won’t continue. Pathetic police service as usual.
First of all legally the police cannot arrest anyone for cannabis as the government has several cannabis factories on the island and is one of the biggest exporters of medical cannabis !
This is police and government corruption and in Legal terms a conflict of interest.
