Ryde Inshore Rescue have aided 2 children in a dinghy off Ryde Sands this afternoon (Sunday).
Solent Coastguard tasked the immediate launch of the independent lifeboat station at 14:46 following reports of a dinghy drifting out to sea.
Ryde Rescue 2 lifeboat was swiftly launched and soon caught up with the duo, who were then brought ashore and given safety advice.
Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Team were also called to the scene.
