28-year-old Jacob Williams has been handed a 17-month driving ban and fined £120 after being caught behind the wheel whilst almost twice the legal limit.
Williams, formerly of Chichester Close in Sandown but now of no fixed abode, was driving a white Mercedes A-Class when he was stopped by Police in the car park of Tesco Express in Wootton on 23rd January this year.
Officers requested he complete a roadside breath test, which he failed. He later blew 63 on the evidential breathalyser.
The bench heard that the 28-year-old last appeared in court in March 2020.
Magistrates handed Jacob Williams a 17-month driving disqualification, fined him £120 and ordered him to pay £45 costs with a £34 surcharge.
Good. Remove the drunk and drugged up drivers off island roads. Totally unacceptable. Why would anyone think it’s ok to drive after drinking or taking drugs beats me.
The scum do it because we don’t have a proper road patrol unit so the risk of getting caught is very small and the same goes for speeding and generally bad driving.
Amazingly, one of those drunk drivers “that think it’s ok to drive after drinking” is none other than Cllr. Phil Jordan…cabinet member in charge of….(*checks notes*)….Island transport safety policy!
He looks like one of life’s finest doesn’t he, never amount to anything, no pride, or morals just take take take ! He will be demanding his rights in prison & doing his sordid little druggie deals, no respect for anybody let alone his self ! Britain today.
just check his past history, “vulnerable adult” dont you know, and no mention of the machette found at the time either.
He is not a vulnerable adult he is a bully.
I got that wrong he should have been imprisoned !
All you keyboard warriors out there makes me laugh. Focus on ya own lives sad twats
