A 12-year-old child has been conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital this morning (Monday) after being involved a collision with a car in East Cowes.
Emergency services were called to Whippingham Road near to Osborne Garage and Osborne House after the young boy was knocked down by a passing car.
Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service and Police have attended the scene, however have since left.
The child is not thought to have sustained any life-threatening injuries, however has sustained serious injuries to his leg.
