A man accused of sending explicit and indecent photos of a woman to her own son on Christmas Day has seen his case sent to Crown Court.
Andrew Dale, 64, of Church Road in Wootton, denied disclosing a private sexual photograph with intent to cause distress when he appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
It is alleged that on 25th December 2021, Dale sent the graphic photo of the victim’s vagina to her son after obtaining them from a laptop he had not been given access to.
When given the choice as to where the case was to be heard, Dale elected for the case to go to the Isle of Wight Crown Court.
The 64-year-old will next appear in Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 13th March. He was granted unconditional bail until that time.
