A woman in her 40’s has been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences following an early morning raid by police today (Monday).
A convoy of 4 police vehicles made their way to an address in the Alresford Road area of Shanklin at shortly before 08:00 this morning.
Officers then carried out a warrant on the address and seized a quantity of what is suspected to be cocaine.
The woman has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and remains in custody at Newport Police Station as investigating officers carry out further enquiries.
Needs locking up for years.
A LOT of years !
Shame people like her can’t be booted off the Island. Far too many like her living here now.
Fed up of reading about these druggies on this Island. Where do they all come from? If they’re not using it they’re supplying it. Too many of them.
