A 19-year-old woman remains in custody after a man was allegedly assaulted in East Cowes yesterday afternoon (Friday).
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary were called at 15:23 to a report of an altercation on Well Road, East Cowes, where a man in his 30s was assaulted and sustained minor injuries.
Police then attended an address in Beatrice Avenue, and a 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of attempted wounding with intent.
She remains in custody at this time.
Why are there so many numpties on the island,
they live on a beautiful island and don’t appreciate it.
Move them off the Island, maybe that is how we can
make the Island the peaceful and safe place it once was.
Anyone with a criminal record, book them a 1 way
Ferry ticket to the mainland.
That would seriously deplete the population of the Island.
It would solve the crime problem and housing
problems.
