There will be live Chainsaw Carving, garden and wildlife conservation experts, fairground amusements and a fair favourite the Passamezzo Elizabethans will be returning to Wolverton this year.

They will be preparing Tudor food in the field kitchen, weaving lavender, making salves and traditional remedies, and distilling herbs in the stillroom; also working with leather, playing children’s games, peddling, dancing and playing Elizabethan music.

There is a local food market and also a feast of mouth-watering refreshment trucks & stalls including Fat Shaun’s Hogs Roast, Whitby Scampi & Chips, The Proper Burger Co., A-maize-ing Sweetcorn, Cowes Fruitful Yoghurts, Vegan Food by Kayleigh, The Coffee Stop, the Vintage Tearoom and Calbourne Classics Ice Cream.

The Garden Fair is a dog friendly event, all they ask is that dogs are kept on their leads and consideration is given to the other animals when going into the Hare Garden. Local obedience group ‘Barking Mad’ host a fun dog show with novelty rounds each day at 15:15 in the Country & Moat Field.

Got to catch that covid! Government had two choices, they chose the third. Well I have had the jab so when I do get it, it’ll be just a bit naff. As for the unvaccinated, ha ha good luck, make sure you have your will written. I guess life goes on. Have fun and stay safe.

Fantastic news, should be a great day out for all the family. Use common sense.
If you’re scared of your own shadow or feel the need to tell others how to go about their lives?! Please stay home and stew in your own bitterness. Life goes on deal with it!!
