Wightlink is advising its customers that due to road closures in Portsmouth for the AJ Bell Great South Run, there will be temporary changes to its car ferry services between Fishbourne and Portsmouth on Sunday 19th October 2025.
Between 10:00 and 14:00, car ferry sailings on this route will arrive and depart from Portsmouth International Port (PIP, PO2 8SP) instead of its usual terminal on Gunwharf Road. A temporary timetable will be in operation during this period.
All customers booked on affected sailings have been contacted directly, and signage will be in place to assist with directions to the alternative terminal. If customers have any questions about these temporary changes, they can contact Wightlink’s customer service team on 0333 999 7333 (Mon–Fri: 09:00–18:00, Sat & Sun: 09:00–17:00).
Please note that foot passengers will not be able to travel on car ferries during this time.
The FastCat foot passenger service between Portsmouth Harbour and Ryde Pier Head will be running as normal.
