Isle of Wight’s Wet Leg have unveiled a frenetic new remix of their hit single ‘mangetout’, reworked by Charli xcx collaborator The Dare.
The swaggering new version of mangetout, remixed by The Dare, following a creative link-up that began when they DJed together at an afterparty in Austin, Texas last October.
Known for his party-fuelled blend of dance-punk, electroclash and indie rock, The Dare injects the track with driving beats and late-night energy, transforming the already punchy single into a full-throttle club-ready cut.
The original version of mangetout has continued to build momentum after A-listing on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6 Music. The song also featured in full during episode two of the Canadian HBO sports-romance series Heated Rivalry, sparking widespread online discussion.
mangetout is one of the standout singles from the band’s second album moisturizer, which has further cemented Wet Leg’s position as one of the UK’s most distinctive alternative acts.
The band have also been nominated for Group of the Year and Alternative/Rock Act at the BRIT Awards 2026, taking place on 28th February. The nominations mark their first return to the BRITs stage since their 2023 performance of Chaise Longue with Boss Morris, described by artist Jeremy Deller as “a cultural moment”.
Wet Leg are currently touring Australia and Japan before heading to the United States for Coachella in April. Their biggest UK headline dates to date follow in July, including a major show at Alexandra Palace Park.
Additional festival appearances include The Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, Rock en Seine, All Things Go Toronto, OpenAir St. Gallen and Hinterland Festival, as well as a support slot for Alanis Morissette in Glasgow.
Wet Leg comprises Rhian Teasdale, Hester Chambers, Ellis Durand, Henry Holmes and Joshua Mobaraki.
