A West Wight man who downloaded indecent images of children, as well as extreme pornography of animals, has been bailed to appear at the Isle of Wight Crown Court.
57-year-old Stephen Knight, of Edinburgh Road, appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with possessing to show/distribute a number of indecent images of children including 4x Category A, 5x Category B and 1x Category C.
A second charge of possessing 2 extreme pornography images showing intercourse/oral sex with a dead or alive animal was also put to Knight, who pleaded guilty to both charges.
The court heard that in March 2021, Police executed a warrant and seized 9 electronic items from Knight’s home – 7 of which contained illegal material.
Ann Smout, prosecuting, detailed how Knight had admitted uploading the images and had engaged in sexual chats with others, talking about very young girls.
Magistrates adjourned the case to the Isle of Wight Crown Court for sentencing on 20th May.
Two pervs dragged out of the shadows and unmasked in the last week – this is what our tax pounds should be spent on – money well spent, police officers time well spent, results achieved. For once we are seeing the law do what it is supposed to do.
Now we just need the courts to bang these pervs up indefinitely and the full cycle of crime and punishment will be working.

Remember these guys have family’s who are often innocent of any wrong doing. I’d bet anything that somewhere in your family tree you have someone you would be ashamed of. Punish the guilty not the innocent

Totally agree. If they get locked up together in their cosy cell with three good meals a day, no bills to pay and no worries like us law abiding citizens, they can laugh at the system and their no doubt pathetic sentences and plan their next lot of perversions. It’s a big IF that they will actually get a custodial though.
