UPDATED: A van and car have collided on West Lane in Brading this afternoon (Thursday), resulting in the road becoming blocked in both directions.
Neither the driver of the Ford Transit van or the Citroen C4 car have sustained any injuries in the smash, which has occurred on the bend where the speed limit changes from 60 to 30.
Police are on scene and recovery of the vehicles has been arranged.
The road has been closed in both directions.
UPDATE – The scene has now been cleared and the road has reopened.
