UPDATED: Two vehicles have been involved in a road traffic collision on Victoria Avenue in Shanklin.
The road has become partislly blocked following the incident, which occurred shortly before 13:40. A silver Mitsubishi Lancer estate and a silver Seat hatchback have been involved in the incident at the junction of Chatsworth Avenue.
Police and ambulance crews are in attendance.
The road remains open but traffic is delayed in both directions.
UPDATE – The scene has been cleared.
One person has been conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital, Newport.
