An East Cowes woman who threatened to punch her carers’ faces if they didn’t leave her house has been fined £120.
Sarah Killingback, 47, of Upper Yarborough Road, admitted 2x use threatening words/behaviour to cause harassment/alarm/distress when she appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court earlier this week (1st October).
Lauren McConnell, Crown Prosector, told the court that on the evening of 14th September, a pair of carers went to Killingback’s property as part of plans that saw specialists visit her home as many as 4 times a day.
Upon approach to the property, the carers noticed some shouting coming from inside, with Killingback – and a male – involved in a verbal altercation. The male then answered the door before Killingback became aggressive towards the carers, saying: ‘f**k off or I’ll punch you in the face’.
The court heard how the carers then left fearing that Killingback may become physically violent before reporting the matter to Police.
The mother-of-6 has no previous convictions but was given a conditional caution back in May 2023 for an offence of battery.
Defending, Michael McGoldrick told the court that his client had said she could look after herself and that she was unsure as to why carers were visiting her house in the first place.
Magistrates handed the 47-year-old a £120 fine and ordered she pay costs of £85 and a £48 surcharge fee.
Another low life on free hand outs, and this is all the thanks people get. This is the shite that is causing the Governments so called ”Black Hole” not the pensioners, or the sick or the disabled. It’s all the scroungers whelking off the state that the Government haven’t got the balls whose never questioned payments to stop, claiming sickness benefits and PIP for the side effects of their snorting and swilling. But they stop OUR heating allowance to replennish that black hole. Not one of them with a clue out here in the real world to see where the real problem lies.

Yes she is suffering from addiction problems, and I’m not condoning her threatening the carers that went into her house, BUT she is CURRENTLY a poorly girl.
