Youngsters from Theatretrain Isle of Wight finally got their moment to shine again in their latest performance!
After over 18 months since the last time they were on stage performing together, the 80+ students put on a dazzling summertime special show. Singing, Dancing and Acting to a variety of tracks including ‘Mama Mia’, ‘Truly Scrumptious’, ‘Sk8er Boi’, ‘Salute’, ‘Peter Pan’ and many more.
Throughout the pandemic the children and teachers have carried on learning through zoom classes online, returning to face-to-face classes earlier this year, working hard to create a spectacular show.
Theatretrain Isle of Wight director, Julie Caudle-Doughty said:
“It’s been a tough time for everyone, but the youngsters have kept smiling and persevered through it all. The show was a celebration of being back on stage, the children just shone, there was smiles, laughter and joyfulness everywhere.”
