Ryde Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club (RLTCC) teams have scored a series of impressive victories in the LTA Portsmouth & District League, triumphing against strong opposition from across Hampshire and the south coast.
Players and captains from the Island club picked up multiple trophies at the league’s annual Awards Night, hosted by Lee-on-the-Solent Tennis Club, recognising a hugely successful year across both the winter and summer seasons.
Winter Season 2024/25 Results:
• Mixed RL1 Division 2 – 1st – Lynn Sandy & team
• Mixed Masters RL3 Division 2 – 1st – Tom Carter & team
Summer Season 2025 Results:
• Ladies Masters RL2 Division 2 – 1st – Jan Collins & team
• Mixed Masters RL1 Division 1 – 1st – David Cartwright & team
• Mixed Masters RL2 Division 2 – 2nd – Simon Mead & team
• Mixed Masters RL3 Division 3 – 1st – Tom Carter & team
A spokesperson for the club said the results reflect the depth of talent and commitment across the RLTCC community:
