The countdown to the South Coast’s largest hot air balloon bonanza, Sky High Night Glow, is on! Local landowners and residents are now being given notice of the upcoming event…
From 20th-22nd August, Robin Hill will see magnificent hot air balloons fill the skies once more. After a record-breaking first instalment in May, Sky High Night Glow will return daily from 17:00-22:00 with spectacular Night Glow displays every evening.
The park’s Lower Valley will once again be a hive of activity with hot air balloon crews tethering, performing inflation races and attempting mass launches from site. Alongside their hot air balloon themed entertainment will be live music, street performers and a selection of delicious dinner options.
Robin Hill would like to issue a courtesy notice to all local landowners and businesses that planned hot air balloon flights are expected from Wednesday 18th-Sunday 22nd August 2021.
Due to the nature of balloon flight relying heavily on calm winds and stable air, flights are unlikely to take place outside of the following early morning and evening times on those dates: 06:00-07:00 / 18:30-20:00.
Balloon flights are operated and managed by qualified flight crews; all pilots are licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority, carry a Certificate of Airworthiness and are not directly controlled by Robin Hill management. Pilots are wholly responsible for their own conduct when flying and will in accordance with codes of conduct published by both CAA and BBAC.
