Salterns Holiday Village Cottages, located in Seaview on the Isle of Wight, is up for sale.

This development of 41 holiday properties spans 11.5 acres and is available off a guide price of £5million.

Nick Earee, of leisure property specialist Fleurets, has been instructed to market the business.

He comments:

“The site comprises of a mixture of two and three bedroom cottages, as well as four bedroom houses. There is granted planning consent to extend and redevelop the existing accommodation and ancillary buildings.

“The development also offers an excellent break up opportunity, with previous proven property sales of £8 million pounds, due to the strong demand for holiday accommodation from second home owners and investors.”

Steve Catton has owned the business for nearly 10 years. He says:

“Throughout my 10 years I have made various investments which have increased income. This included an extensive refurbishment programme totalling circa £1.5 million, which also introduced an on-site licensed premises, Café Blue.

“Furthermore, I believe the business would really benefit from extending its trading seasons. Having recently submitted a pre-planning application for all year round holiday use, the council have responded “it is unlikely that the local planning authority would raise any significant concerns.”
