Police are this morning (Tuesday) searching for a 97-year-old pensioner who has gone missing from a residential care home in Cowes.
Emergency services were alerted to the ladies disappearance from Moorings Residential Home on Egypt Hill shortly after 06:00.
Phyllis, who is described as approximately 5ft tall with grey hair, suffers from dementia and is deaf, making the search that little bit harder for rescue teams. She normally wears a cardigan and trousers.
Anyone with information should call police immediately on 999 (Ref: 169).
UPDATE @ 09:25 – Phyllis has been found safe and well by Police.
