UPDATED: Emergency services are attending a road traffic collision in Ventnor this lunchtime (Wednesday).
Police and ambulance crews are on scene at Ocean View Road, close to the junction with the top of Grove Road, where a car has collided with a motorcyclist.
Island Echo understands the casualty has sustained significant leg injuries in the smash, which occurred just before 12:30.
Traffic is flowing in the area but motorists should find an alternative route if possible.
UPDATE @ 13:05 – 1 male has been conveyed to hospital by ambulance following the collision, which has involved a Dacia Logan.
The scene is expected to be cleared shortly.
