UPDATED: A car has left the carriageway and gone into a ditch on Marshcombe Shute near Brading this evening (Tuesday).
No one is thought to have been seriously injured in the minor incident, which occurred at around 17:00 and prompted Police and Ambulance crews to respond to the scene a short while after.
It is thought the driver hit a patch of ice before hitting a bank.
Police had temporarily closed the road between Yarbridge and Yaverland, however it has since reopened.
Officers are now awaiting recovery of the vehicle, a silver Fiat Punto.
UPDATE @ 18:35 – The car has now been recovered by Stag Lane Motors. Police have left the scene.
