The Czech midfield maestro has played all the EPL games for The Hammers and has scored nine goals. His performances have made him a fan’s favorite. If he ends the season strong, you might see some top European teams fighting for his signature.

Emiliano Martinez – Aston Villa

Emiliano Martinez has developed into one of the best shot-stoppers in the EPL. He has been consistently outstanding for Villa. His most outstanding performance of the season was at Brighton in February, when he made nine saves to help his team emerge with a barren draw.

He has kept 14 clean sheets which is two less than Ederson’s tally of 16. There are still ten matches remaining, meaning he still has the chance to make his breakthrough season even more memorable.

Wesley Fofana’s arrival from Saint – Etienne last October raised eyebrows. Everyone wondered who the 19-year-old that Leicester paid 40 million Euros for was. However, his quick adaptation and brilliant performances have helped Leicester be consistent this season.

He has more chances to show his brilliance as his team takes on Southampton in the FA Cup semis. They also have a chance of finishing runners up in the EPL. Although he is young, Fofana has emerged as one of the most solid central defenders in English football.

Patrick Bamford – Leeds United

Patrick Bamford has had to be patient to have his breakthrough EPL season. This season he has been a brilliant player for Leeds this campaign. He has shown that he is a striker; you
cannot ignore having bagged 14 goals and seven assists.

His goal contributions have been very crucial for Leeds. They now sit at 11th in the EPL table in their first season back to top-flight football. He has managed to silence his critics who had written him off as a striker.

Ben Godfrey – Everton

Ben Godfrey joined Everton last summer from Norwich City, which was relegated. Ben has established himself as an integral player in the current Everton squad under Carlo Ancelotti’s tutelage.

He is celebrated for his tough-tackling performances that have helped his team grind out tough results. His most memorable performance was in the victory against Arsenal in December when he was named man–of–the–match. He has been a great player this season, and the only thing remaining is for Southgate to hand him a National team call-up.
