UPDATED: A power cut has hit Wootton and surrounding villages this afternoon (Thursday).
Households and businesses in 146 postcodes, primarily of the PO33 4 region, have lost power.
The fault occurred at 16:47.
Engineers from Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks hope to have power restored by 19:00.
UPDATE @ 17:02 – Power has already been restored to some properties, however 83 postcodes remain without electricity this dinner time.
UPDATE @ 18:03 – Power has been restored to the majority of properties this evening, however 9 postcodes remains without supply.
SSEN say power should be back to normal by 23:00.
