Just weeks remain to sign up for the eagerly anticipated Beat the Heat quiz night in support of cardiac charity Heartbeat, set to take place at Ryde Castle on 5th March.
The evening promises a lively mix of trivia, curry, and community spirit, all in support of heart health and the vital work Heartbeat does for cardiac patients and their families. So rally friends, family or colleagues to form a team and bring your best general knowledge.
This will be the third Heartbeat Beat the Heat quiz on the Isle of Wight, returning by popular demand following last year’s successful events at Ryde Castle and Royal Solent Yacht Club in Yarmouth.
Island Echo competed in October’s quiz in Yarmouth and has already signed up to take part in this year’s Ryde instalment. Can you beat our team…?
Doors open at 18:30 for a 19:00 start, with teams of up to 6 people able to take part. Entry is £25 per person and includes a curry meal.
Tanya Harder, Community Fundraising and Marketing Manager at Heartbeat, has shared her excitement about the event:
“Our last quiz night was a huge success — not just in raising funds, but in bringing together local businesses and the wider community. Events like this are about reminding people to look after their hearts, while also highlighting the support we offer to families during some of their most difficult times.”
Booking is essential as spaces are limited. To secure a place, contact Tanya Harder on 02380 706096 or email [email protected].
