Police and ambulance crews are in attendance at Flowersbrook Park, Ventnor after reports of a man attempting to take his own life.
Island Echo understands a male in his 30’s was seen to be attempting suicide by hanging in the park near to Steephill Road shortly after 10:30 this morning (Monday), causing concern for welfare.
Specially trained Police officers are on the scene talking to the man, alongside paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
