UPDATED: The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service and Police are in attendance at a minor road traffic collision in Shanklin this afternoon (Tuesday).
A Mercedes Sprinter delivery van has collided with a black Smart car on North Road at the junction with Clarendon Road. The incident happened at just before 15:45.
No one has been seriously injured in the smash, but a rapid response paramedic is checking over the driver of the Smart car.
Traffic is slightly delayed in the area. All roads remain open.
UPDATE @ 17:25 – 1 male has received minor injuries in the incident. He has not been conveyed to hospital.
Recovery of the vehicles has been arranged.
