UPDATED: Island Roads have temporarily closed the main Whitwell to Godshill road in one direction due to a build up of mud on the carriageway.
Tractors leaving fields in the area between Roud Road and Beacon Alley have left a large amount of mud behind, resulting in dangerous conditions for drivers.
Island Roads say traffic is still able to travel from Godshill to Whitwell.
UPDATE @ 16:20 – The road has now re-opened in both directions.
