Toby Batchelor collected Newport Rowing Club’s first men’s Hants & Dorset Championship at the weekend.
Unfortunately, his partner in the Junior Pairs campaign, Ollie Coulson, was committed to racing on the mainland and could not attend the presentation.
Toby and Ollie had a storming campaign over the regatta season, winning 6 out of 7 races and finishing a close 2nd in the 7th race.
