A new children’s puzzle book, an Isle of Wight calendar and a wordsearch book have been launched as part of a fundraising drive to raise £1,300 for another life-saving defibrillator on the Island.
IoW Defibrillators has expanded its fundraising range, with proceeds from sales helping the charity continue its work providing defibrillators across the Isle of Wight.
Among the new products is the IoW Defibrillators Kids Activity Puzzle Book, which has been designed for younger children and contains more than 60 activities and puzzles.
The full-colour A4 book runs to 26 pages and is printed on 100gsm paper, with activities intended to entertain youngsters while developing thinking and problem-solving skills.
Also launched is the charity’s 2027 Isle of Wight Calendar, featuring 12 photographs taken around the Island.
The A4 calendar folds out to A3 size, with a photograph for each month, and is printed in full colour on 200gsm matt white paper.
The photographs have been provided fee-free by local photographers Angie Davies of Splash Sports Photos, Timothy Welstead, Josh Thomas of Capture The Second Photography and Dan of Aerial Drone Perspectives.
IoW Defibrillators says their support has helped produce a calendar which celebrates the Isle of Wight while raising funds towards another defibrillator.
An Isle of Wight Wordsearch Puzzle Book has also joined the fundraising range, offering Island-themed puzzles.
Other products available include an Isle of Wight Colouring Book featuring Island scenes and Ryde Waterworks – Knighton Memories, which focuses on local memories and history.
The charity is currently aiming to raise £1,300 towards the purchase of a new defibrillator for a community location on the Isle of Wight. The target will help pay for the defibrillator, cabinet and installation.
Islanders are being encouraged to support the appeal by purchasing products through the charity’s online shop or making a donation. The full fundraising range is available at www.iowdefibshop.co.uk.
