Santa Dash – Mountbatten’s annual festive family fun run – will return next month at a new venue.
The 5km run will be held at Ventnor Botanic Garden on Sunday 12th December and, as ever, all runners will receive a Santa suit to wear on the day.
The route will weave around the grounds, finishing in a special Christmas village featuring live music, gift stalls, a meet and greet with Frozen characters and the chance to see Santa.
Nigel Hartley, CEO of Mountbatten, says:
“Covid prevented us from having a Santa Dash last year, and we really missed it, so we are delighted to bring it back.
“This is such a fun event, and moving it to Ventnor Botanic Garden promises to make it even better.
“It is a great way to get all the family into the Christmas spirit, so please sign up to support Mountbatten.”
It’s thought that the event has been moved from Ryde to Ventnor due to the ongoing sewer works at Appley.
The run starts at 11:00, with registration open from 10:00. All ages and abilities are welcome.
