Emergency services are in attendance at a multi-vehicle road traffic collision on the outskirts of Arreton this afternoon (Thursday).
It is understood three vehicles have collided near to the Fighting Cocks pub on the main Sandown to Newport road, a notorious accident black spot.
According to Hampshire Constabulary, no one has received serious injuries, however the vehicles involved have been damaged with a black Mazda loosing a wheel.
The road remains partially blocked this afternoon causing delays in the area, however traffic is flowing.
UPDATE @ 16:12 – Two persons received minor injuries and were treated by paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service. The road has now been cleared.
