The drivers and occupants of two vehicles have escaped any serious injury following a road traffic collision between Apse Heath and Arreton earlier this evening (Thursday).
Police and ambulance crews were called to Branston Cross at the junction of Princelett Shute and Winford Road at around 18:30 after a BMW 3-series and another vehicle collided, causing substantial damage to the two vehicles.
The road was blocked for a short period whilst the incident was cleared.
