Hope the Motorcyclist makes a full recovery
He will ,he’ll need plenty of recovery time .
Speed limits need to be introduced on the Island
Everyone seems to break the speed limit
There are already speed limits on the Island, on every road.
As later reports have confirmed “driver was not with vehicle”. She legged it, leaving a seriously injured person!! Nice!! NOT!!! Hope all of you who so quickly jumped on with the presumptuous comments about the bike driver’s ability/speed blah blah rethink your comments. So too many on here are quick to assume when accidents are reported with no knowledge of the facts and also no thoughts to those involved. Careful what you wish for as one day it could be you and yours reading such news.
Hope the chap is not too seriously hurt ( shame it was not the bike with loud back firing exhaust though.. np offence but that boy is a twat )
A picture paints a thousand words. Car over the white line. Position of damage over the white line. Biker on correct side of road. I would say she didn’t give way. This is just my opinion by the way. Others are available.
The bike rider was fully sober and coherent, the golf was driving on the wrong side of the rd the biker swerved to avoid an accident and was about to turn 30 yards into the left hand turn ,so he was slowing down not speeding , why did the car driver run , did they panic who knows you never leave the scene of an accident unless you’ve something to hide those are the facts I was there remember it was a head on crash if both were going 30 mph then it was a 60 mph impact , that’s basically the facts .
Her mate, is saying the complete opposite. Let old bill sort it.
