A motorcyclist has been injured in a road traffic collision on Beaper Shute between Ryde and Brading this afternoon (Sunday).
The incident, which occurred around 14:00 at the junction with Harding Shute, has involved a motorcycle and a car.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service has mobilised an ambulance crew, a critical care paramedic and an operational commander to the scene.
Police have also responded.
It has been confirmed that the rider of the ‘monkey bike’ type motorcycle has sustained minor injuries.
The incident has been cleared off the carriageway and into a nearby woodyard.
