Emergency services have attended a road traffic collision on Briddlesford Road, Wootton this afternoon after receiving reports that a motorcyclist was trapped underneath her bike.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the junction of Blacklands Lane shortly after 13:35.
One fire appliance from Newport attended the scene due to fuel that was leaking from the stricken motorcycle.
It is understood that the female rider has not been seriously injured.
Briddlesford Road was blocked for a short period while emergency services dealt with the incident, however one lane has now reopened allowing traffic to pass.
Delays are continuing in the area.
