The Met Office are warning Islanders of the possibility for icy conditions tonight and overnight into Tuesday morning.
A yellow weather warning has been issued for ice in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight from 21:00 until 09:00 tomorrow.
With skies slowly clearing from the east overnight, as cold air from the continent spreads west, temperatures are expected to steadily fall leading to a frost and some icy patches developing.
On Friday ice led to a number of early morning collisions on the Island’s roads.
Island Roads will be gritting the Island’s road network from 20:00, including hand gritting of footbridges at Foxes Road and Stag Lane, Newport.
