The case of a man who allegedly attacked his own father, causing him a cut to his head, will go to trial.
Kelvin Ouvry, 27, care of Mill Square, Wootton appeared before Portsmouth Magistrates Court earlier this week (Monday 20th January) charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
It is alleged that on 26th June 2024, Ouvry attacked a man known to him causing the male injuries to his head.
Appearing via video link, Ouvry – who works as a chef – entered a not guilty plea and elected a trial to be held at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court.
The case has been adjourned until 12th November.
The 27-year-old has been granted conditional bail until that time.
