I would like to offer my heartfelt thanks to the man who intervened to prevent the dog being beaten. I hope the police can find the dog a nice home and do not return it to its owner.
Thank goodness there are people who DO care about Animal Welfare.
Far too many nasty people who should never have pets, everyone should be veted before owning a dog…

Sounds like you’re the twa t.
Bastard. Pure and simple. I hope the poor dog does not get given back to him. He doesn’t deserve to keep any animal.
Lockstock and two smokin’ barrels? Vinny Jones and Brad Pitt who played the pikey who was the bare knuckle boxing champ.
Brilliant film in its time, still is
Film was Snatch not Lock Stock, but both great films.
One wonders at the surname.
What, DFL?
Would have loved the dog to have turned on its owner ….revenge
I agree however if the dog did this then it would be the dogs fault and probably be put down. As with other people lets hope the dog finds a kind owner and not be put back with this disgusting man.
I would love to give him the same treatment no charge either.
He Should be locked in a kennel and beaten total scumbag ….
Shouldn’t be allowed to ever keep animals again…
As already said well done to the person who intervened
So angry at people who abuse animals,.
So pleased the man intervened as I would have done. What cowardly scum who picks on the defenceless. Just hope he is never allowed to own an animal again. Absolute scum !!!
Simply treat him like he treated the dog
>From London

One doubts a Mr Jones, or Smith will be involved.
Whatever the person who intervened deserves full praise and I hope a reward in life happens to him.

As Barbara Woodhouse would say, you don’t get bad dogs, just bad owners. Based on what it was like in the 70’s, people do a lot better at looking after their dogs these days. But there are still some like this a hole.
44 idiots and counting, jeez, the island is made of them, huh.
I’ll have the dog… give it a great home! That scum bag doesn’t deserve animals how dare he treat such a loving animal like that!
