A 37-year-old man who is accused of raping a child when he was just 14-years-old has appeared in court today (Tuesday).
Christopher Blake, of Albert Road, Rochford in Essex is accused of 2 counts of rape, 3 counts of indecent assault and 1 of inciting a boy to commit an act of gross indecency.
It’s alleged that the rapes and indecent assaults against an underage girl took place on the Isle of Wight on dates between 1997 and 1999 – meaning the accused was between 14 and 15-years-old at the time.
It is also alleged that the incitement of a boy under the age of 14 to commit an act of gross indecency occurred on dates between 1999 and 2003, also on the Island. Christopher Blake was aged between 16 and 20 at the time.
The case has been adjourned to the Isle of Wight Crown Court on 4th July.
