44-year-old John James Keenan from London has been charged with stalking a woman on the Isle of Wight. It is alleged that a number of incidents have occurred since Tuesday last week (13th February), with the matter being reported to Police yesterday (Monday). Following enquiries, John Keenan, of Lambeth Walk in London, has now been charged with stalking. He has been remanded in custody to appear at the Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court this morning. UPDATE – Mr Keenan has pleaded not guilty to the charge against him. He has been granted conditional bail – which includes not returning to the Island – until 23rd May, where he will appear before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court for the trial.
