LOCAL BUSINESS GIVES CHILDREN THE CHANCE TO HUNT FOR THE HOTWHEELS

Published:

A local business specialising in diecast models is gearing up to offer Islanders and their children the chance to ‘hunt for the Hotwheels’ over the Easter bank holiday.

As many of the activities on the Island remain closed due to the remaining coronavirus restrictions, Faz’s Diecast Collectables is hoping to aid parents who are looking for a way to entertain the kids over the weekend.

The Easter egg hunt-style activity will see business owner Dan hiding Hotwheels collectibles along many of the Isle of Wight’s seafront paths and walks. He hopes that not only will it give families a reason to head outdoors, but also inspire the next generation of collectors.

All models have been wiped down and sanitised with all packs being created and dropped off whilst wearing gloves.

Walkers will be able to hunt for the models from today (Saturday), with those who find one asked to post a picture of it and its location on the business’s Facebook page.

Fantastic and generous offer, my kids were over the moon to find one on Sandown seafront. And they then wanted to scoot all the way to Shanklin to check out if there was one there. Full marks for the positive encouragement for fitness!
